This report provides information about equipment downtime, as recorded in the "Down Time" field in the Close section of work orders. The report also calculates Mean Time Before Failure rates, based on the average interval in hours between corrective work orders.

To produce a downtime report, select Units —> Reports —> Downtime from the menu. MainBoss opens a window that contains the following:
Under each equipment type, MainBoss lists a line for each piece of equipment for which "Down Time" was recorded during the specified period. This line gives the total amount of downtime reported for the equipment and the estimated Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Both downtime and MTBF are given in terms of hours and minutes.
The report provides subtotals of downtime within each equipment type and within each system. There is also a grand total of downtime for all systems combined.
Under each equipment type, MainBoss lists work on each piece of equipment covered. There is one line for each corrective work order on each piece of equipment, giving the closing date for the work order and the "Down Time" reported. For each piece of equipment, there is also a total line giving total downtime and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
The detailed report also provides all the subtotals and grand total that appear in the summary report.
