Space Types

The Space Types table makes it possible to group spaces into classes. For example, you might create classes like offices, washrooms, tool shops, and production floor. While it is not necessary to create any space types at all, most MainBoss users find that such classes are a helpful method of organization.

Space types are used when entering information about spaces. For further information on recording space information, see Creating and Editing a Space Description.

The Space Types table is a simple table; for more information, see Simple Tables. You access the Space Types browser with Units —> Tables —> Space Types. Entries in the Space Types table consist of:
