Restoring Obsolete Equipment to Service

If you declare a piece of equipment obsolete, then need to bring that equipment back into service, follow these steps:

Open the Obsolete Equipment browser with Units —> Obsolete.
Find the equipment you want to bring back into service.
Click the Activate button in the browser. This clears the obsolete code that you previously attached to the equipment record and moves the record back into the normal Equipment table.

Note: If you want to restore obsolete equipment to service, do not delete the equipment by clicking Delete in the Obsolete Equipment table. Clicking Delete deletes the equipment record entirely rather than restoring the equipment to active status.
