Payment Terms

When you create a purchase order with MainBoss, it is helpful for the purchase order to specify payment terms (for example, payment on receipt, COD, net 30, etc.). The Payment Terms table lists all the payment terms that might be used by your organization, so that these terms may appear on purchase orders.

The Payment Terms table is a simple table; for more information, see Simple Tables. You access the Payment Terms browser with Inventory —> Tables —> Payment Terms. Entries in the Payment Terms table consist of:

Code: A unique identifier code (10 characters maximum)
Description: A description of the payment term (30 characters maximum)

For example, a code might be N30 and the description might be NET 30.
