Deleting Inventory Items

Q: When I try to delete an inventory item, MainBoss won't let me do it. Why?

A: MainBoss won't let you delete an inventory item if MainBoss's records indicate you still have some of that item on hand. To delete the item, you first have to reduce the On Hand count to zero wherever the item is stored (you can check inventory using Inventory —> Browse Items) You must also reduce the current total cost to zero. You can reduce the count and total cost to zero using Inventory —> Adjustments —> Physical Count. Reduce the count and total cost to zero, then try deleting the item again.
