You access the Vendors browser with Tables —> Vendors. The browser window contains the following:
- Edit: Lets you change the currently selected entry.
- New: Adds a new vendor to the list.
- Clone: Adds a new vendor to the list, starting with information copied from the currently selected entry.
- Delete: Deletes the selected item from the table. Note that vendor names are used extensively throughout MainBoss (for example, in purchase orders, work orders, and equipment table entries). Deleting a vendor may therefore cause errors in other records that refer to that vendor. As a rule, it is best not to delete vendors that may already have been used in other MainBoss records.
- Print: Prints all or part of the table.
- Search: Searches for a particular record in the table.
- Done: Closes the browser window.
