All entries in a simple table have the following fields:
- Code: A unique identifier code (15 characters maximum)
- Description: A longer description (40 characters maximum)
- Save & New: Saves the current record and clears fields in the window so you can enter a new record.
- Clone: Copies the "Description" from the current record and creates a new record containing the same "Description".
- Delete: Deletes the current record.
- Save: Saves the current record, but leaves all data as is. You can then continue to edit the same record.
- Cancel: Closes the window. MainBoss discards any information that you haven't already saved with Save.
For example, the equipment type table is a simple table. Each entry in the table consists of a short code for some class of equipment in your organization and a description telling what that code means.
