This guide uses the following documentation conventions:

Using the Mouse: Whenever this guide tells you to click on a button, a menu item, or some other object on the screen, click with the left button of the mouse.

Drop-Down Lists: MainBoss makes use of many drop-down lists. A drop-down list is a small box that ends in a down-arrow. If you click the arrow, the box opens up to show a list of possible choices. To select one of the choices shown in the list, click the line where the item appears. This guide describes such an operation using words like: Drop the arrow on the "Building" field and select from the list...

Note: This manual also comes in an HTML version that you can read with a normal web browser. As you read this manual in its paper form, you may find it useful to be sitting beside the computer with the HTML version open on your browser. In this way, you can read from the printed document, but you can also use the HTML version to follow up on any cross-references that look useful. For more on reading the HTML version of the document, see Obtaining Online Help.
