Logging In

When the MainBoss program starts, you may be asked to enter your name and password. If so, you will see a window containing the following:

User Name: The name you use when working with MainBoss.
Password: Your password.
Ok: Click this after you have entered the user name and password. MainBoss will proceed to log you in under the given name.
Cancel: Closes the window without logging in.

Your user name and password will be given to you by the person who administers MainBoss in your organization.

Note: It is possible that MainBoss will begin working immediately, without asking you to log in. If so, it means your administrator has turned off all of MainBoss's security features.

At any time during a MainBoss session, you can log in under a different name if you know the appropriate password. To log in under a new name, select Session —> Login from the menu. MainBoss will display the usual login window where you can enter a new user name and the associated password.
