CONVERT SUBSYSTEM - miscellaneous options.

DISCard: discards all non-text records. Normally these are written out with no conversion, except when the output file is the current file or the terminal. In these cases, it is considered an error if a DISC option is not included.
EXCLude: If the "exclude" option is in effect, CONVERT ignores the SELEct option. The "exclude" option is default for JPRINT, JPUNCH, DISPLAY and CONVERT.
IGNOre: ignores all imbedded $$ control cards, i.e. CONVERT will treat them as text.
INCLude: instructs CONVERT to use files selected via SELEct as input files. "include" is the default for JRN.
TIME: prints out the time and date at the terminal when invoked.
Verify: instructs CONVERT to summarize the records obtained from the input. The summary includes the media code of the input records and the number of records in that media code.
