Items to Check & Initial Completion:
1. ___ Check all exit lights for burnt out lamps or
damage
2. ___ Check all fire alarm panel power/trouble
indicators
3. ___ If applicable, check operation of fire fighter
communication
4. ___ Check fire pump room temperature (winter)
5. ___ Test fire pumps (see fire pump tasking)
6. ___ Ensure that all valves controlling fire
protection, water supplies and sprinkler systems
are open and properly supervised
7. ___ Review condition of emergency generator system
and operate generator under load for 30 minutes
under a minimum of 50% rated load. Record in log book
