Administration | MainBoss Service contains buttons that will start or stop MainBoss Service. To start the service, click Start Service.
- If you are logged in to the computer where MainBoss Service is installed, Start Service (and Stop Service) will work if you have Windows Administrator privileges. On Windows Vista and Windows 7, MainBoss will attempt to go into "elevated privileges" mode and you will be asked to confirm this.
- If you are logged in to a different computer, Start Service and Stop Service only work if the following are true:
- You have Windows Administrator privileges on the computer where MainBoss Service is installed.
- The computer where MainBoss Service is installed has file-sharing turned on. (For how to turn on file-sharing, see File-Sharing.)
