The last step in processing incoming messages is to send out acknowledgements. To do this, select Actions —> Send Acknowledgements from the configuration program menu.
For this action, @Requests goes through the Pending Acknowledgements folder and sends appropriate e-mail messages to tell requestors about the progress of their requests. After an acknowledgement has been sent, the corresponding message is removed from the Pending Acknowledgements folder.
Although messages are deleted from the Pending Acknowledgements folder, there will still be copies of those messages in other folders. For example, when @Requests discovers that a work request has been voided, @Requests moves the message to the Void folder and places a copy of the message in Pending Acknowledgements. Therefore, when the Pending Acknowledgements copy is deleted, there will still be a copy in the Void folder.
