The UW_TOOLS package includes several commands intended for use by system adminitration personel. These are normally installed under the userid UW_PRIV.
Userid UW_PRIV is special to the command loader, so userids authorized to use these tools do not necessarily require LODS permission. Because of this, the site must be careful about the FMS permissions attached to the userid and to the program files under the userid. Anyone with Read or Execute permission on one of these files will be able to perform the privileged actions associated with the program in that file.
