Ending a MAIL8 Session

Syntax:

          qQuit
          DONE

Description:

The qQuit and DONE commands let you leave interactive mode MAIL8. Note that both "q" and "qq" are valid abbreviations for qQuit.

When you leave MAIL8, messages in the mailbox file are squeezed together to fill in any gaps left by deleted messages. However, the mail messages are not renumbered.
