CATL - type a list of files in a catalog and their sizes.

Syntax:

CATL [<catalog pathname>]

Examples:

catl /fred
catl /mycat >cat
catl /acat/thecat

Description:

CATL is a command for listing the files in a catalog. Unlike CATA, it:

lists the files in the reverse order in which it finds them
lists the size (in blocks) with each file
gives a summary of the total number of blocks used
prints out the files and sizes in all subcatalogs
is capable of listing its output into a file specified by the user in the command line as shown above.

Known Bugs:

You can only use CATL on your own userid, on LIBRARY, and on CMDLIB. Because of this restriction, you must preface your own catalogs with your userid or a slash.
