CATL - type a list of files in a catalog and their sizes.
Syntax:
CATL [<catalog pathname>]
Examples:
catl /fred
catl /mycat >cat
catl /acat/thecat
Description:
CATL is a command for listing the files in a catalog. Unlike
CATA, it:
- lists the files in the reverse order in which it finds
them
- lists the size (in blocks) with each file
- gives a summary of the total number of blocks used
- prints out the files and sizes in all subcatalogs
- is capable of listing its output into a file specified by
the user in the command line as shown above.
Known Bugs:
You can only use CATL on your own userid, on LIBRARY, and on
CMDLIB. Because of this restriction, you must preface your own
catalogs with your userid or a slash.
