32 - extended line status.

Usage:

mme     gerout
vfd     18/0,o6/32,h12/TERMID
zero    STATPTR,0
TERMID
is the terminal ID name.
STATPTR
points to a word where status information can be written.

Description:

This version of MME GEROUT requests the originating network processor number for a specific line. MME GEROUT will write the status in the word indicated by STATPTR. Below we describe the meaning of bits in this word.

  0-5:   terminal type (see "expl mme gerout 06")
12-17:   network processor number
18-26:   zero
   27:   if on, general status mode abort
   28:   zero
   29:   if on, line connected to another program
   30:   if on, line waiting for program inquiry
   31:   if on, line idle
   32:   if on, line busy
   33:   zero
   34:   if on, line disconnected
   35:   if on, BREAK received; BREAK reset
Note that terminal type and network processor number are not returned if the line is disconnected.
