1 - obtain additional 7-track tape.

Usage:

mme gemore
zero 1,STAT
tra FAIL_RTN

Where:

STAT
is zero if only a tape unit in READY status is acceptable. A STAT of 1 indicates that either READY or STANDBY is acceptable. In this case, a MNT instruction output on the console directs the operator to mount the reel indicated by the Q register.
FAIL_RTN
is used for denial returns -- see "expl mme gemore".
Q register
contains the following:
Bits 0-17
points to a word containing the reel number of the tape to be mounted. If these bits are zero, reel #99999 is used.
Bits 18-19
unused.
Bits 20-23
is a density code as given by the following table.
0000 site standard high density
0001 200 bpi
0010 556 bpi NRZI mode
0100 800 bpi
1001 1600 bpi PE mode
1100 6250 bpi GCR mode
1111 tape handler capable of all densities
0111 any tape, any available density
Bits 24-35
file code to be used, expressed as two BCD characters.
