If there is a line in the profile of the form "LOGIN [options]*", LOGIN will normally make use of the specified options whenever someone successfully signs on to the userid. Any options that the user specifies explicitly when signing on will override the default options appearing in the profile file. For example,
LOGIN News=All Usercommand='if (drun=="") "system fred"'
could be used to tell LOGIN to always give you the news and then, if you aren't a DRUN, to leave you in the text editor FRED.
