DRL T.LINL (octal 74) - change input line length.

Usage:

drl t.linl

Description:

DRL T.LINL sets the terminal input line length to value specified in the Q-register. The number of words is specified in bits 0-17 and the number of characters is specified in bits 18-35. Valid line lengths may be between 80 and 160 characters (inclusive).

Upon return from the derail, a 4 in the lower half of the A-register indicates a successful return; any other character indicates failure. If the user's device is a VIP type, an unsuccessful return is given.

DRL T.LINL can also be used to determine the current line length by zeroing the Q-register before issuing the DRL. In this case, the current line length in characters is returned right-justified in the Q-register.
